Debbie is an innovative go-getter who bought her first home, a 3 unit apartment house, at 18 years old, the year she graduated high school. Raised in a family of entrepreneurs, who owned several single family, rental and commercial properties, she began working at 13 years old alongside her father in managing multiple businesses, and naturally fell in love with real estate. It is no surprise that the next generation, her sons, Tyler and Nick, joined her in the real estate industry! When handling the sale of a family grocery store, and gas stations, Debbie was approached by the Real Estate Broker and the family attorney. What a blessing! Groomed by a well respected real estate professional as her career began in 1992 and simultaneously accepting a part time position with a real estate attorney to experience the intricate process from the legal perspective was a life changing time. With vigor and fire, she excelled and learned every effective aspect of the real estate industry. After serving loyally as an Associate Broker for several years, once her mentor retired, she opened her first brokerage in 2011. The founding of Debbie Fisher Hometown Realty, LLC happened! Originating in Upstate New York, where she was born and raised, she grew her brokerage into one of the top agencies in the Finger Lakes Region where she is well known and still operates. With her boys attending college in Charleston, it was inevitable that the family would fall in love and open a brokerage in the Lowcountry.
